HADA provides shelter assistance and distributes essential non-food items to displaced families and individuals affected by emergencies. Our shelter programs include the construction or repair of temporary shelters, distribution of emergency shelter kits, and provision of basic household items such as blankets, sleeping mats, cooking utensils, and hygiene kits.
We prioritize the needs of vulnerable groups, including women, children, elderly persons, and persons with disabilities, in our shelter and NFI assistance programs. Understanding the diverse needs of the communities we serve, HADA offers two types of support: conditional and unconditional.
Conditional Support:
In our conditional support programs, recipients receive money and goods in exchange for participating in hygiene and environmental cleaning activities. This approach not only provides immediate relief but also promotes community engagement and responsibility. Families and individuals are encouraged to maintain their own and their relatives’ hygiene and cleanliness, fostering a healthier and more sustainable living environment.
Unconditional Support:
During emergencies, HADA provides unconditional support to those in dire need, offering immediate assistance without any requirements. This ensures that the most vulnerable individuals receive the help they need without delay, enabling them to cope with the immediate impacts of crises.
By combining conditional and unconditional support, HADA ensures a comprehensive response to the needs of displaced families and individuals. Our integrated approach not only addresses immediate necessities but also encourages long-term resilience and community well-being.
